The Southeastern Counselor Training Institute (SCTI) would like to welcome you to our professional resources and blog page. Here you will find information including upcoming events, discussion topics of interest for mental health professionals, and some of the professional resources we love.
Our first topic of business is our 2020 inaugural Spring Fling event. We are proud to be hosting a number of workshops from March thru June that are designed to be informative and thought and feeling provoking. We know Ethics and Supervision CEs are in hot demand before the end of the licensing cycle so we have a couple workshops for last minute folks before the summer gets under way. Definitely check them out!!
Two other high demand workshops, “There’s No Place Like Home!” Attachment, Trauma, and Addiction and Essentials of Ethical and Effective Trauma Treatment, are on the books and info can be found on our workshop page.
We are proud to be partnering with The Summit Wellness Group in Roswell, GA to host a series of professional education workshops over the next year. Keep checking back for more info on additional workshops offered.
Co-founder of SCTI, Mary Gay, will be presenting at the LPCA of GA Conference in Atlanta on Friday May 8, 2020 from 1:30 to 4:45pm on “The Years of Living Dangerously:” Understanding Early Attachment Experiences. Whether you work with children or adults, this workshop will assist you in understanding the early roots of relational functioning for both yourself and your clients. It’s also a great way to see what our institute is all about.
SCTI is looking forward to becoming a part of the continuing education community in the Southeast. Come check us out!!
Warmly,
SCTI (Mary & Chinwé)
